Library Mission Statement

The mission of the UAHT Library is to support the efforts of the College as it works to meet the higher education needs of the community, and to serve as an educational facility wherein students and faculty may learn methods of accessing and retrieving information which will facilitate the learning process. The Library provides an array of information resources in a variety of formats and via electronic access to support the academic and occupational curriculums.

To provide a quality collection of resource materials that supports the teaching, learning and research functions of the College.

To provide an education program for library patrons that will provide them with the information skills and comfort level necessary to   competently access the collection.

To provide a suitable physical environment (the Library and its equipment) for study and the use of library materials.

To maximize use of, and access to, the Library’s collections by students and community.

To promote the Library and its staff as a support service for the College staff in efforts to improve the quality of students’ educational and learning experiences.
